AYSO Region 124 Knoxville, TN

Region 124 ALLIANCE

AYSO Alliance is a new part of the AYSO Player Development Pathway.  Much like EXTRAâ„¢, Alliance is a competitive, tryout-based program for players/teams who want to play in both internal and external gaming circuits as members of both AYSO and US Youth Soccer or US Club Soccer.

AYSO Alliance is a year-round program that will redefine Region 124 soccer going forward. AYSO Alliance will be replacing the Region 124 EXTRA program.  In accordance with the AYSO Vision Statement of "world-class soccer for all", AYSO is introducing AYSO Alliance.

What is the AYSO Alliance Program?
The purpose of the AYSO ALLIANCE program is to support the AYSO player development pathway to the highest levels of play. It is an integral part of the AYSO Club program potential progression.

How are AYSO Alliance teams formed and games organized?
AYSO ALLIANCE teams consist of players who are selected through open tryouts and who want to play at a more competitive level within AYSO. AYSO ALLIANCE teams represent the National Program in their local ALLIANCE circuit as well as in inter-state tournaments. This opportunity to play may require team fundraising, and will likely involve team travel.

Each AYSO ALLIANCE program will operate in the best interest of the local Area and Regions with an emphasis on the player pathway and creating a positive learning environment for our players and coaches. The program will serve as an entry point for players into external competition circuits.

AYSO ALLIANCE teams are composed of players registered within AYSO, while also registered with US Youth Soccer or US Club Soccer. AYSO ALLIANCE teams, coaches and players have all the advantages of being part of AYSO and playing in external gaming circuits.

Can my AYSO Alliance child also participate in AYSO Core?
Unlike our former EXTRA program, play on a Core team is not required with Alliance.  However, a parent can choose to register their player in both programs.  Registration in both will require attendance at additional training schedules and games.  Alliance players that also participate in the primary program at the same time can participate fully with both teams as well as All Star, tournaments, National Open Cup, National Games, and travel teams.

What are the fees for Alliance?
The annual registration fee two seasons (Fall & Spring) for an AYSO Alliance team is approximately $300+$20 AYSO National Fee = $320. The registration fee includes AYSO player and league registration, a uniform kit, and US club soccer registration fee.

Alliance club is a one year committed program, please make sure you can commit to a year long program before accepting the invitation to play.  Refunds are not available.  Team fees will vary by team.  Team fees cover circuit league registration, tournament fees, additional training, referee fees.  Travel will be required for these players and travel fees are not included in the team fees.
